BeClose In-Home Safety System -- 2 Sensor Safety Package

BeClose is more than a personal emergency response system. This home monitoring safety system delivers a “safety net” by enabling an anytime assessment of daily living activities and emergency response. The BeClose In-Home Safety System is non-intrusive, because it monitors daily living activities with small wireless sensors in the home that communicate with your own private BeClose website. Now you can make sure your loved one is safe and help avoid potential emergencies before they happen.
How It Works

Nurture Connect’s Exclusive BeClose Safety Package Includes:
BeClose Base Station –As the heart of the BeClose In-Home Safety System, the Base Station does two things: 1) it’s how the emergency response call center speaks to your loved one if the Panic Button Pendant is pressed; and 2) it’s the wireless hub that connects each BeClose wireless sensors to the online dashboard and notification system. Thanks to the battery that can last for up to one day, if the power goes out, your loved one is still connected.
BeClose Dashboard – The Dashboard shows a comprehensive view into daily activities and routines. You can understand normal daily activities and then monitor changes in routine or unusual activity in a way that maintains our loved one’s independence, while making life easier for everyone. By knowing the patterns of daily living, you can help prevent small problems from becoming big ones. Receive notifications via text message, email and phone.
24/7 Emergency Response Call Center – The Underwriters Laboratory certified Emergency Response Call Center has highly trained emergency operators to handle any situation when the Panic Button Pendant is pressed. After expert assessment of the situation, emergency responders will be dispatched or emergency contacts notified.
You Choose 2 Sensors:
BeClose Panic Button Pendant – When your loved one presses the Panic Button Pendant, the 24/7 Emergency Response Call Center answers through the Base Station. At the same time, pressing the Panic Button Pendant triggers an alert (via text message, email & phone) in real time to you or a caregiver when your loved one presses it.
BeClose ButtonThis 3-inch diameter panic button can be placed in your loved one’s home in an area where accidents can happen like the stairs or the bathroom. When the button is pressed, the 24/7 Emergency Response Call Center answers through the Base Station and an alert (via text message, email and phone) is sent to you in real time.
Bed Sensor The lightweight and comfortable Bed Sensor is placed discreetly between the mattress pad and the mattress. It indicates when the bed is occupied or unoccupied, and helps track night time wakefulness or excessive daytime sleeping.
Chair Sensor – The small and comfortable Chair Sensor detects when (and how often) a chair is occupied. It helps to track sedentary periods as well as potential issues like getting up from a seated position.
Door Sensor -- The Door Sensor detects the opening and closing of doors, windows, cabinets, drawers, or just about anything that opens and closes. It can monitor comings and goings from the home as well as the use of food or medicine cabinets, or even the refrigerator.
Motion Sensor The Motion Sensor detects motion or activity in selected areas of your home. One Motion Sensor covers an area of 30 × 35 feet. They are "small pet friendly" meaning that that a pet smaller than 40 pounds should not trigger a motion event. Motion sensors can also be used to detect periods of inactivity, which can signal a problem.
Toilet Sensor –Detects presence on or near the toilet allowing you to monitor bathroom activity or potential safety issues, such as falls, near the toilet. The sensor is water resistant and can easily be covered by a standard toilet mat so it can't be seen.
Water Sensor – This sensor detects water leaks or flood conditions. Quick response to these conditions can help prevent water damage. The sensor is activated anytime it detects moisture and can save your loved one a trip to the basement during heavy rains, or can detect an overflow in a bathtub if the water is left running.
Now you can BeClose, even when you’re not.

Lifetone HL Bedside Fire Alarm and Clock

Smoke alarm technology that could save your life and the lives of your loved ones in a nighttime fire.

Get your best protection against a nighttime fire today.  Smoke alarm protection of this type has never been more affordable!  State-of-the-art bedside fire alarm system specifically designed to be effective and safe in waking people up.

Effective enough even for the hearing impaired.

State of the art Square Wave technology. Super simple to operate. Includes a bed-shaker to make sure you wake-up!

Works with existing smoke alarms.

Customer Testimonial:

"Until I found this Lifetone Alarm, I was never sure I would be awakened when I wanted to be. I can't hear most alarms and those I could hear were so faint I was more likely to overlook them in a sound sleep than to be awakened by them. The Lifetone is not only a good fire alarm (actually, the least of my worries as this place is equipped with several others) but also an outstanding sleep alarm. Not only does it have the loudest alarm I've ever heard (fortunately, I don't have a companion with normal hearing sleeping alongside me), but it also has a "bed shaker" (more of a rough vibrator) which is even more effective than the audio alarm. The numbers on the "dial" are large enough that even these 82 year-old eyes can make them out without glasses. The clock and alarm setting functions are simple and can be quickly reset and adjusted. All in all, the best bedside clock and alarm I've ever owned."

Personal Emergency Response System

A Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) that works with new digital telephone lines or standard telephone lines. It couldn't be simpler. You don't have to go through the frustration of figuring out which type of telephone service you have. This system works with both!
Why get a PERS system? According to the New England Journal of Medicine, after a fall or other emergency, 90% of people who receive help within one hour will continue living independently, but after 12 hours, only 10% of people will continue to live at home. With Nurture Connect’s PERS, you get increased safety and independence with one simple button.
How does a Medical Alert System Work? This PERS consists of a small “speaker phone” that connects to a power outlet, as well as your phone line. After being properly installed, it will not interfere with the phone system in any way. It also comes with a Personal Help Button, which acts as a remote access to the system and can be worn on the wrist or on a necklace/lanyard around the neck. By just touching the personal help button, a Care Center Representative is summoned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The Care Center will dispatch emergency services or contact a family member or friend depending on the situation.
Quit worrying about falls, personal safety, medical emergencies and being alone. The Nurture Connect Emergency Response System with service by industry leader VRI enables seniors and those at risk to live independently at homes longer.
